Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are famously skilled at avoiding the paparazzi, and it seems like they’ve been pros for a long time even helping their famous friends do the same. In ‘Welcome to the O.C. a new book dissecting the history of the beloved series, ‘The O.C. Rachel Bilson revealed that the Olsens once saved her from a particularly wild fan mob. Her boyfriend at the time, co star Adam Brody, wasn’t as lucky.
The Olsen twins rescued me and threw me in their car, Bilson explained of getting mobbed by fans after a 2004 appearance on MTV’s ‘TRL’ with the sisters and her then-boyfriend. I left Brody behind because I was so nervous and didn’t know what to do. And they were like, ‘Don’t you need to get your boyfriend?’ And I was like, Oh, yeah, we’ve got to go get him. Still no word on whether Brody managed to escape.
