Jennifer Aniston is revealing more about her final memories of ‘Friends’ co-star Matthew Perry, who died on October 28. In a new interview, Aniston shared that she had been texting Perry the morning before he died, and that despite his highly-publicized struggles with substance abuse, he was not fighting any of his demons at the moment.
He was happy. He was healthy. He had quit smoking. He was getting in shape. He was happy that’s all I know, Aniston said. I was literally texting with him that morning, funny Matty. He was not in pain. He wasn’t struggling. He was happy.” Aniston also emphasized that she wanted her friend to be remembered as he said he’d love to be remembered as someone who was focused on helping others.
