Macaulay Culkin has been a star since the age of 10, when he played Kevin McCallister in the beloved Christmas movie Home Alone, and now he’s gotten a star of his own on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Culkin was honored just in time for the holidays, and the ceremony even gave him the chance to reunite with Catherine O’Hara, who played his mom in the ‘Home Alone’ films. O’Hara gave an emotional speech to Culkin at the podium.
The reason families all over the world can't let a year go by without watching and loving ‘Home Alone' together is because of Macaulay Culkin she said. I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do. O’Hara’s speech had Culkin wiping away his tears before embracing his former onscreen mom.
