Emma Corrin paid homage to Princess Diana's iconic style on the Red Carpet

The final season of the The Crown premiered in London last night, and Emma Corrin paid homage to Princess Diana's iconic style on the red carpet.

Corrin played the royal in season four of the hit drama, before Elizabeth Debicki took over as an older version of Diana in seasons five and six. Naturally as is becoming increasingly common the actor was inspired by her on-screen counterpart when dressing for the premiere.

Working closely with stylist Harry Lambert, Corrin recreated the white tailored skirt suit that #PrincessDiana wore during a royal visit to Italy in 1985 but with a contemporary twist. The custom Miu Miu outfit consisted of a sheer take on the royal's white skirt, paired with a classic white tuxedo jacket and bow-tie. Corrin's look was finished with black leather gloves, platform heels, knee-high black socks and Cartier jewellery.
